bad things happen at night...
the prelude... 10 pm... met andy and alvin for supper at West Plaza... had some chicken cutlet and beer to go with... went back to Elias CC to slack and some chit chat... got home at 1 am... turn on my laggy computer to do some maintenance.. reformatted the wrong hard drive... the one containing my animes... songs and such... omg!!! night-time really makes bad stuff happens.. and just in case your thinking... i am very sober...
now struggling to recover those files... its like 4 am now... n the recovery progress is crawling at about 20 minutes per percentage recovered... and the worse thing is tat its just STAGE ONE!!!! wonder how long the other 3 stages will take... not even sure if the software works... just hope it works...

sushi!!!
went out for sushi with Jun Yang and Leslie today... ate so full tat everyone was on the verge of exploding... nevertheless the food was great... expect one particular dish... yes.. tat one to the right... tat was SO HOT tat i doubt the curry served at most prata stalls can compete against it... just a teeny tweeny bit of the paste can make you feel hot all over... great for winter days... certain not-so-great here... Leslie went for extra servings of drinks after eating tat...after the heavy lunch.. we headed down to Sim Lim Square to get some stuff... got some new headphones for my bro and (finally) some much-needed RAM for my laggy com... some tempted to buy more stuff... until i remembered tat i will be eating grass for the rest of the month if i spent on more stuff...
after all of tat... we (almost) parted ways... until the sky decided to take a piss at us... so we ended up walking in the rain all the way to Dhoby Ghaut.. visited Sunshine Plaza on the way there to look at gundam and scale models... suddenly felt the urge to learn air-brushing (again)... we continued walking in the rain after tat... until Leslie spotted something... two gigantic fishes in a tank!! i was like... stunned... passed by there some many times yet noticed two huge, black masses swimming around... must b freaking expensive to eat a fish tat big...
after messing around with the fishes and some more walking... finally reached Dhoby Ghaut.. went our separate ways there... i headed back home as i have no better place in mind... after getting out at Pasir Ris and upon seeing White Sands SC... tot to myself, "when was the last time i stepped into a shopping centre without a purpose..?" its really tat long since i done tat ok...
so i started walking around the whole place... looking real bored... until a new DIY store caught my eye... so in the end... i ended up buying more stuff... some decor sticker for the toilet bowl (it looks boring for the past 5 years)... a DIY kit for a wooden boat... and a mini hacksaw to go with (i know i know... hacksaws are for metal and plastic... but who cares?)... after a few hours of imaginary planning... spray painting.. sanding and filing... fitting and gluing... my little wooden boat is born...
i hear chants of me being a gay... comon... nothing wrong with making a wooden boat right? anywayz... enjoy the end product!!!

internship.. done!!!
(almost) everything ended 2 days ago... a little relieved that its finally over...
had to facilitate in moving stuff from my office on 29th floor OCBC centre to 6th floor OCBC centre east. air-con on the "new" office felt like its not turned on... lots of stuff to unpack and dispose on Friday... files.. empty files.. stationary... stacks of A4 paper... more empty files... omg... simply not enough place to put all of them... until more cupboard came in in the afternoon...
finally get the storage part done right... then settle down to work... Mr Oh came at around 1630 to check on Jasmine and me... see how we're doing... and also to get our internship grading done... he just came back from he reservist... looked so different that i wouldn't have recognised him if not for his specs...
Thomas Low (the supervisor) wasn't free... so some-other-dude (sorry.. didn't catch your name but still... thanks a lot!!!) came over to do our grading... four of us were in the meeting room... so silent was it that only the ticking of the clock can be heard... the whole atmosphere made me a little nervous about how some-other-dude will grade me... cause i haven seen him around before... took a little glare at the grading while hes at it... was quite relieved at what i saw... its was only later that i found out he "did his homework" by called up one of my colleague to sort of like "know more about me"...
Mr Oh left after the grading... poor guy... guess he's tired for having to handle his work straight after coming back from reservist... went back to have a little tea break at the "new" office... had some iced milo and kaya toast from Ya Kun (courtesy of the Business Head of Business Strategy)... after a little chit-chat... had to focus on my work for the last 2 hours before knocking off...
its was an intense 2 hours as work piled up because of the moving day on Wednesday and National Day... raced to finish everything in my inbox... could say i quite completed everything there is... only left one thing which i have to let one of my colleagues handle (or else i would stuck there for days... trying to finish!!!)...
while packing up my cupboard and preparing to leave... someone passed me a card... its a farewell card with everyone's wishes for me... suddenly feel sad about leaving this place... but things have to move on... wrote an email to them as a response to the card... Thomas Ang (one of my colleagues) said this to me after reading the email, "its not "farewell", its "see you later""... make sense... hahaha...
still got my internship report to do... irritating...
finally... specials thanks to Sor Cheng, See Joo, Kim Yong, Irene, Jean, Thomas of Business Planning, Ying Ying of EB1 and other i acknowledged in my mind and heart for making my internship there fun and worthwhile... really had a great time... will miss working with everyone there...
one chapter closes...
